Here are all the pets that we would like to remember Punch 1986 - 1997 Punch was our 1st pet after getting married. Punch disappeared 6 months after we moved in 1997. However she must have found another home as we got a call from the Vets 4 months later. She had been run over & had to be put to sleep but at least we knew she had been well cared for in the previous 4 months. Shadow 1988 - 1995 Shadow was our 1st dog and was a Collie X. She was very intelligent but unfortunately only had a short life due to a heart defect. Shadow with the twins Velvet & Schnapps. Velvet was Schnapps's littermate who was owned by Karen's parents. Schnapps & Velvet met & played regular. Velvet had to be put to sleep the year before Schnapps with exactly the same Nervous disorder. Whiskey  1986 - 2005 Whiskey arrived as a stray in 1988. She came into our house & started rubbing herself around Shadow. So when we found out that a neighbour had rescued her from a factory site and was looking for a home for her we decided she just had to stay. Whiskey was about 2yrs old and pregnant when she arrived. We had to put her to sleep in 2005 after she broke a leg. It was felt she was to old and frail to undergo surgery. Schnapps - 1994 - 2004 Schnapps was a German Shepherd X Labrador. Her Mum was a GSD & her Dad was a Black Lab. After trying for a baby for 10 years, a month after Schnapps arrived we found out a baby was on it's way so we owe a lot to Schnapps who will always be in our hearts. We had to put her to sleep in 2004 when she could no longer walk due to a Degerative Nervous Disorder. Schnapps & Whiskey were great friends & often slept together. Thumper Our 1st rabbit who loved exploring the garden Peca & Chuee 2 identical Guinee Pigs Charmelian who loved teasing the dogs who in turn loved to chase him round his run.
